“Dissolving into the sound of our hearts, letting the song become our prayer… to me, that is sacred. To me, that is Ceremony.”

In her concerts Sudha invites us on a journey around the world and into the stillness of the heart through songs and chants from various cultures and spiritual traditions. With a multitude of flavours the experience takes the audiences across traditional Buddhist chants from the East, to Hawaiian songs in the West, weaving beautiful Sanskrit mantras, North American tribal chants and songs from the Yoruba traditions of Westafrica as well as original songs in English.

The audience is encouraged to dive deep into the experience together and sing along with some of these simple chants. In the singing an atmosphere of unity is created and opens up a space to honour and celebrate Existence itself.

Music is the Universal language that connects us all, it transcends the boundaries of traditions and culture and speaks directly to our hearts as humans. Through the power of sound we can connect so easily to Source, each other and the voice of our own heart. The purpose of Sudha’s concerts is to nourish this connection.
